This workshop not only involves collaborative construction but also offers a platform to delve into the concepts of PERCEIVE and experience how heritage artworks can be presented in a playful and engagement manner. At the crossroads of OPEN CITY and the PERCEIVE project, this workshop introduces participants to an intriguing fusion of modular urban planning and the preservation and communication of colored Cultural Heritage collections.

Introduction to XYZ OPEN CITY: Understand the philosophy behind XYZ OPEN CITY and its potential to transform traditional urban planning. Learn how this system promotes shared resources, collaboration, and sustainable design.
Hands-On Construction: Engage in constructing an exhibition space frame using XYZ OPEN CITY's modular building blocks. Experience the freedom to combine modules and materials to design a unique and functional structure.
Sustainable Design: Explore the use of various materials in the construction process and gain insights into the innovative XYZ NODES construction system, which allows lightweight, durable, and versatile structures to be built without welding.
Community Empowerment: Discover how XYZ OPEN CITY shifts the balance of power from centralized authorities to local communities. Explore the implications of this alternative approach to urban planning and its potential for fostering vibrant and inclusive spaces.

PERCEIVE: Cultural Heritage Evolution

Preservation Innovations: Explore the methodologies developed by PERCEIVE to Study, Reconstruct, Render, Remap, Exhibit, and Re-appropriate Cultural Heritage artifacts. Gain insights into the project's strategies for preserving fragile objects through shared preservation methods.
